Today, 8th grade U.S. History classes learned about equipment carried by a Civil War soldier. They also looked at uniform and gear evolution from the Civil War to Iraq. This ranged from food, backpacks, uniforms, sleeping gear, and technology changes. Today Garrett Rogers tried on some “relics” as the students called them.
