SeDoMoCha Community – Beginning tomorrow, Mrs. Sternal, our beloved crossing guard and speech pathologist, will be taking some time off to undergo surgery for the removal of a cancerous kidney. Judy has been a beacon of warmth and smiles for all of us at SeDoMoCha, and now it’s our turn to show our support.
This Friday, we invite all staff and students to wear orange as a symbol of solidarity for Mrs. Sternal and to express our collective hope for her swift recovery. During her absence, Mr. Gudroe and Mr. Archer will step into her shoes, overseeing the crosswalk in the mornings for the next six weeks. To continue the tradition, Mrs. Sternal has graciously shared the location of her many hats with them.
As we eagerly await Mrs. Sternal’s return, let’s also hope that the groundhog’s prediction holds true, and warmer weather welcomes her back. We understand the impact she has on our community, offering a warm welcome to all each morning. If you would like to send cards or letters with well wishes, please send them in with your child, and we will be happy to ensure they reach Mrs. Sternal.
Together, let’s surround Mrs. Sternal with the love and positive energy she has shared with us over the years.
