Work Permits
If you are under 16 years of age, you must obtain a work permit before beginning a job. This includes homeschoolers. Until you reach 16, you must apply for a new permit every time you begin a new job, even if you work for your parents. Once you have a promise of a job, you must take proof of age to the Superintendent’s Office along with a work permit that has been signed by your parents. Parental permission is required to work. The Superintendent’s Office will complete the permit
