SeDoMoCha Food Market

About the SeDoMoCha Food Market

The SeDoMoCha Food Market, a Partner Agency of Dover-Foxcroft Kiwanis, is managed by a few volunteer staff members. The food market was established in 2018 to provide a supplemental source of food to individuals and families in need and has changed throughout the years. We now have an open market system where students shop for items twice a month to take home. These items range from produce, meats, dairy, nonperishable food items, etc.

We also partner with Good Shepherd Food Bank to provide food in our market. This partnership allows us to receive donations from our local supermarkets like Hannaford, Sam’s Club, Walmart, even Target. We receive a variety of foods from these donations like meats, eggs, dairy products, bread and more. Some foods are purchased locally as necessary.
